With over 30 years of rich and diverse experience in the corporate sector, with government bodies and educational institutions pan India, Ms. Neeti Sharma brings with her a unique, holistic understanding of all stakeholders that contribute to India’s workforce and has the ability to marry them to achieve positive outcomes for our country’s growing economy.

Neeti started her career in developing IT systems for manual processes and later moved to the education and training industry. Across her career, she has contributed to various domains including Human Resources, Customer Relationship, Channel Management, Operations, International Business Development and Outsourcing including Employment & Employability.

Neeti is passionate about skill development as she believes that by giving the right skills to people, providing them with the right guidance, making them employable and getting them to the right first job – it changes their life forever. She pioneered PPP Employment Exchanges in India and was instrumental in starting India’s 1st Vocational Skills University – TeamLease Skills University. She sets and evolves strategic directions for Continuous Learning and Employability under TeamLease and TeamLease Skills University with key focus on providing Vocational Skills to the youth of our country and making them employable.

Neeti holds various positions across many academic institutions . To name a few, she has been the Member Secretary of the Skills Task Force under the Karnataka Knowledge Commission, Government of Karnataka , Board member of the Academic Council of Karnataka State Rural Development & Panchayat Raj University (KSRDPRU) and Member of the Board of Studies of NITTE School of Management. Neeti has been actively involved in various state government initiatives to increase the employability and employment of tribal, rural and urban youth in various states across India. She is also a member of the Skills Council of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Her primary focus is to set up self-sustaining Employability and Employment models with various network of learning centers that profile, assess, train and certify job seekers across all profiles and cities / towns linking various stakeholders and funding agencies such as Government, Educational Institutes, NGOs, Foundations and Training Centers to cater to the manpower requirements (entry and middle level) of the organized and unorganized corporate sectors. She also focuses on building network, collaborations and partnerships to help scale the impact for beneficiaries.
