Byomkesh Mishra is the Cofounder of Medha, a non-profit organisation based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, working to better prepare youth for life after school. Medha provides 21st century skills training, industry exposure and career mentoring to youth at their existing educational institution. Medha has supported over 20,000 students in more than 100 educational institutions across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Haryana.
Prior to founding Medha, Byomkesh was the Head of Financial Inclusion projects for RBS Foundation, India. In this role, he provided strategic consulting and training in Business Planning, Systems and Processes to over 30 NGOs in the most underserved regions of the country. Prior to RBS, he was the
Director of Business Development at SKS Microfinance in Hyderabad, where he was responsible for growth-related initiatives, including new product, segment, and channel development. Byomkesh received an MBA in Rural Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), and has led several projects on Rural Development, Women & Youth Livelihoods, and Capacity Building of Social Enterprises.
